Coming from a history of back problems, his focus is on proper alignment and safe execution of the poses. His goal is to unleash the power that resides within you - the power to flow through challenging poses, the power to direct the breath to where the body needs it most and the power to calm the mind and nurture the soul.
When Michael is not on the yoga mat you may find him at the gym, riding his bike or exploring the great outdoors. If you have time, ask him about his bicycle travels.

Meditative Art

Carol’s meditation practice began at Dharma House in 2018. Knowing the fast pace of her life was unfulfilling and unhealthy, she sought balance and stillness. Through a consistent and dedicated practice, she has discovered ways of interacting with herself, others, and the world that are gentle, life-giving, and meaningful. Her desire to share the benefits of meditation with others led her to become a Certified Meditation Teacher in 2021. Carol is also an artist and combines her passion for art and meditation to teach meditative art classes.

Emotional Intelligence Life Coaching

Like meditation, yoga found me at a time when I needed it most. I thought that I could find happiness through my career, but it wasn't enough. My training taught me to honor my inner voice. I teach all 8 limbs of yoga with a strong focus on awareness and breath-work. Through intelligent sequencing, I guide a practice that allows you to truly connect with and strengthen your mind and body. In 2015, I founded the Dharma House. I enjoy using a fluid combination of modalities. My passions include spirituality, emotional intelligence, health and wellness, philosophy, and nutrition. My mission is to master the power of the mind and body, and teach others to do the same. Here I believe we find not only power, but joy.
